The Missing Piece

Have you ever built a puzzle, and you put two pieces together and they work, so you move on.
As you are finishing the puzzle, you notice the last few pieces aren't fitting together like they should.
And then you realize that the two pieces, previously mentioned, actually don't belong together like you thought.

Those two puzzle pieces sat together the whole time, (probably a few days, cause lets be real, who builds a whole puzzle in one day) and they don't even belong together...

I am realizing that this is an accurate depiction of how life goes. You think things are supposed to be one way. They are working out, everything is fine, and then something comes along and it all just clicks that maybe, just maybe, everything is supposed to be different.

This can, and does, go for everything. Your career path, your choices in the past, what you studied in college, what college you went to, your current job, relationships... literally everything.

Something I am also starting to realize is that you cannot plan for what is going to happen because things change. Nothing ends up like you think it will. And you know what? That's fine. Because if everything ended like you imagine, there would be no challenges, no excitement, and no inspiration.
